Chantilly Skirt 18" Doll Clothes

Wear the trendy Chantilly Skirt to school or the mall and you will be a fashionista. Off to the tennis courts? Or a track meet? The Chantilly Skort is right on trend. This PDF pattern includes pieces to make the skirt in a 2 way stretch knit or a light weight woven fabric. Add the shorts to the knit version for a completely different look. So quick and easy, you will make it again and again.

Recommended Fabrics:  For the knit skirt of skort, 2 way stretch knit fabrics like lycra, ponte, dancewear, or spandex. For the woven skirt, lightweight woven fabric with a soft drape such as rayon challis or a chiffon. A cotton or cotton blend may be used for the main skirt pieces.

Supplies Needed:
Knit Skirt or Skort
• Main fabric or all three parts (2 way stretch) – 1/4 yard
• Skirt ruffle (2 way stretch) – 1/4 yard or scraps
• Shorts (2 way stretch) – 1/4 yard or scraps
• Elastic – 12” of ½” wide elastic
• ¼” wide double sided fusible stay tape optional but recommended
Woven Skirt
• Main fabric or full skirt – 1/4 yard
• Skirt ruffle – 1/4 yard or scraps
• Elastic – 7” of ½” wide elastic
• ¼” wide double sided fusible stay tape optional but recommended
